Derby Junior Chess Club
ABOUT US
Derby Junior Chess Club takes place on Monday Evenings between 6pm and 7pm (September to May).
Our aim is to allow children to enjoy the wonderful game of chess:
We cater for all levels of junior players aged 7 or above.
Provide focussed teaching to allow beginners to play chess.
For those that can play but at an early stage of their chess development, we mix some coaching and the opportunity to play friendly games.
For more advanced players we provide friendly and competition play.
Parents are encouraged to stay and to get involved if they wish.

Derby Junior Chess Club is a separate club but affiliated to the Derby Chess Club. We are part of Derbyshire Chess Association.
