Social Chess

A record turnout for Chess 960, the last “first Tuesday of the month” social event for the 24/25 season.

April’s special event was based around openings named after animals.

March’s special event was an “odds” tournament, where a sliding scale of handicaps was applied to the stronger player in each game.

February’s special event was a well attended Sicilian themed quickplay.

On Tuesday 7/1/25 we held a blitz tournament as our “first Tuesday of the month” social event.
