B-Team in Long Struggle, Winning Streak Continues
Belper D were the latest guests for Derby B on Tuesday (28/01/25). Playing alongside the D Team match, all the boards were still being contested after the D Team’s match was completely finished.
Stuart drew a double-edged game on bottom board. This was then followed by wins for David, George and myself. The 3½ - ½ score misrepresents the long and tenacious struggle that took place on all four boards.
This win keeps the B team on top of the league on board difference after 8 games.
