“Hard Fought” as C-Team lose to leaders
On Monday (11/11/24), Derby C took part in a hard fought match against the current division 3 leaders, Burton & Lichfield C. Unfortunately it ended in a 3-1 loss, but the final result did not reflect the closeness of the games. Matt's game on board 1 was equal all through the game, but unfortunately time pressure at the end resulted in a loss. On board 4 Sam was clearly winning and was annoyed to eventually lose as did Carl on 3. Andre on board 2 did manage to bring in the 1 point from the match.
